About this album
16 early demos made in Penarth and Cardiff, South Wales, during 1983/4.. The songs had been accumulating since the early 1970s and were recorded mainly on 2 cassette recorders, allowing for basic multi-tracking by bouncing tracks back and forth and adding another layer each time. The instrumentation was acoustic guitar and Casio mini keyboard. Tracks 15 and 16 have a bit more! Some attempt has been made to 'tidy up' and polish the sound to reduce tape noise etc but imperfections remain, The photo is of Penarth Head as seen from Cardiff Bay.
Track 17 is an added extra from 2023 about a large and rather mysterious hill near Cardiff, Mynydd-y-Garth.
